The art of recreating historic facades includes three traits: detective work to uncover painting “scars” for authenticity, research to understand appropriate details and available moldings appropriate for the period, and creative design to enhance the unique character of each house.  This design incorporates a squeezed pediment over the bay window and a new portico over the entry door.  The perspective drawing enabled the owner to envision the new façade image.
