Set against the vibrant landscape of western Marin, this important icon of Northern California Modernism was dramatically beautiful, but cold and uncomfortable. Our design updated and transformed the rigid, austere angularity of this modern sculptural landmark into a cozy family retreat by infusing contemporary amenities of convenience and sustainability.
The hive geometry plays against a palette of natural materials, allowing a graceful, open flow of space, and unimpeded views of nearby Mt. Vision and Tomales Bay.
