With the impending construction of the TransBay Terminal, eminent domain tore down the first John Collins bar, a historic building on Natoma Street.
The architect helped the owners envision a new version around the corner on Minna Street that held to the original successful style formula, which features beautiful original brick walls and a gorgeous wood bar.
